Environmental pollution research increasingly relies on complex data analysis, with every decision made throughout the process potentially impacting scientific conclusions. Laura's thesis addressed two questions: how to build analytical practices that are both robust and interpretable, and what role data visualization plays in environmental pollution research. Overall, the thesis positions data visualization as an integral part of rigorous environmental pollution research, and provides important insights and recommendations robust environmental data analysis.
