New publication in Environmental Technology & Innovation: Wood ash amended biochar for the removal of lead, copper, zinc and cadmium from aqueous solution

Heavy metals from motorway runoff enter waterways causing high levels of contamination. In this study, Sampriti Chaudhuri, Gabriel Sigmund and Thilo Hofmann from EDGE collaborated with colleagues from Swansea University to investigate efficient removal mechanisms of these heavy metals using wood ash amended biochars.
