2006: Visiting professor at the Department for Bio-inorganic Chemistry at Pau University (France)

since 2005: University Assistant at University of Vienna, vice head of the Department for Environmental Geosciences, head of the Nanogeosciences Division.

2005: Summa cum laude doctorate degree at the Hamburg Universty of Technology (TUHH) in natural sciences (Dr. rer. nat.). Thesis title: "Characterization of Environmental Colloids applying Field-Flow Fractionation - Multi Detection Analysis with Emphasis on Light Scattering Techniques".

1996 - 2004: PhD student/research scientist at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), Department for Environmental Science and Technology (Prof. Dr. Ulrich Förstner)
