Sarah Pati has joined EDGE as an assistant professor in February 2024. Her group investigates the occurrence and fate of organic contaminants in aquatic systems with research ranging from comprehensive field studies to elucidating reaction mechanisms of photochemical and enzymatic transformation processes. Sarah received her Ph.D. in environmental chemistry from ETH Zurich and has previously worked at the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology (Eawag), the University of Minnesota, and, most recently, as a SNSF Ambizione fellow at the University of Basel.
