Welcome New Group Member: Jiahui Wu

Jiahui Wu joined EDGE as a postdoctoral researcher in August 2024. She will be working on the Cluster of Excellence project "Microbiomes Drive Planetary Health", specifically WP 6.2 - Microbiome-Enhanced Silicate Weathering. Jiahui will focus on the inhibition of enzymatic soil organic carbon transformation by secondary minerals formed as products of enhanced silicate weathering.

 

 

Jiahui obtained her Ph.D. from Central South University, China, where she focused on the crystallization mechanism of magnetite. She has cultivated a strong research interest in mineralogy, crystallography, and biogeochemistry.
