Welcome new group member: Richard Kimber
Richard Kimber has joined the EDGE Krämer group as a University Assistant. Richard comes from the University of Manchester where he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in geomicrobiology for 5 years.
n Manchester, Richard’s work focused primarily on microbial and mineral interactions with copper in both environmental and applied systems. In Vienna, he will continue to develop his research interests around Cu biogeochemistry and also apply his knowledge of geochemistry to DNA-mineral interactions within the MINERVA research platform. His particular interest is to apply spectroscopic techniques to elucidate mechanistic processes at mineral surfaces in these systems.
