Natalie Wichmann has joined EDGE as Ph.D. student. She will work with Michael Zumstein on extracellular hydrolases from wastewater and soil environments. Natalie received a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Nanoscience from the University of Basel, where she worked on two-dimensional Black Phosphorus Nanosheets and potential biomedical applications. Natalie's Ph.D. project is supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation and conducted together with the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology (Eawag).
