Carlotta Carlini has joined EDGE as a visiting Ph.D. student from the Environmental and Management Research Group (UNIBO) at Bologna University in September 2021 and will stay at EDGE for six months. She will be working with Gabriel Sigmund and Sampriti Chaudhuri to study biochar´s potential for the removal of organic and inorganic pollutants from contaminated soils. Carlotta previously obtained her B.Sc in Environmental Science and M.Sc. in Environmental Assessment and Management at Bologna University.
