Katharina Sodnikar has joined EDGE as a senior scientist/lab manager in September 2022. In this role, she will contribute to our research and education in environmental organic chemistry.
Katharina obtained her BSc and MSc in Biotechnology at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna and her PhD in Environmental System Sciences at ETH Zurich. During her PhD she studied the environmental fate of double-stranded ribonucleic acids (dsRNA, used as novel biopesticide) and deoxyribonucleic acids (dsDNA).
