She obtained her B.Sc. from AVANS University of Applied Sciences in Environmental Sciences for Sustainable Energy and Technology. During her Ph.D., Valerie will focus on the fate and bioavailability of tire-derived compounds in terrestrial systems together with Thilo Hofmann.
