New publication in Environmental Sciences Europe: Getting in control of persistent, mobile and toxic (PMT) and very persistent and very mobile (vPvM) substances to protect water resources: strategies from diverse perspectives

Safe and clean drinking water is essential for human life. Persistent, mobile and toxic (PMT) substances and/or very persistent and very mobile (vPvM) substances are an important group of substances for which additional measures to protect water resources may be needed to avoid negative environmental and human health effects. Bridging, a diverse range of perspectives on the issue, this publication brought together experts from across Europe to shed light on the various factettes on how to get in control of this new contaminant class. Therein EDGE┬┤s Gabriel Sigmund contributed his knowledge on remediation and removal technologies. The study was published in Environmental Sciences Europe.
