Welcome new group member: Jasmine Thekkumthott Athil
Jasmine Thekkumthott Athil joined EDGE as a part time technician in October 2022, supporting supporting the lab team. She obtained her BSc in Food Science and Biotechnology at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna.
During the summer of 2022 she worked as a research intern in the department of Chemical Engineering at the University of San Francisco in Quito, Ecuador, researching the recovery of lignin out of a byproduct of the bioethanol production. Currently she is studying Biotechnology as a master student at the Technical University of Vienna.
